PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH & WELL-BEING @ GROWWITHAWG

Healing is not simply about reducing symptoms. It is about understanding the stories, experiences, and survival patterns that shaped who we are—and creating the safety needed to move beyond them.

Anna Wirdah Gouhar is a Clinical Psychologist, EMDR Registered Therapist, Trauma Specialist, and Corporate Trainer with over a decade of experience helping individuals, families, and professionals navigate life’s emotional challenges. Her work combines scientific rigor with genuine human connection, creating a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful change.

Having worked with clients across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Canada, Malaysia, and Ireland, Anna brings a culturally informed perspective to therapy. She has extensive experience supporting individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, emotional burnout, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and the long-term impact of adverse childhood experiences.

Trained in Clinical and Health Psychology in the United Kingdom, Anna integrates evidence-based approaches with a deep understanding of the nervous system, attachment, and trauma. Her therapeutic work draws upon EMDR, trauma-informed care, attachment theory, mindfulness-based interventions, and contemporary psychological research to help clients move from survival toward lasting emotional well-being.

Alongside her clinical practice, Anna has established herself as a trusted voice in mental health education. As the founder of Grow With AWG, she has spent more than five years creating accessible, culturally relevant mental health content for a global audience. Through her educational work, she has built a community of thousands who turn to her for insights on trauma, anxiety, relationships, emotional resilience, and personal growth.

Anna also works extensively as a corporate trainer and facilitator, delivering workshops on psychological well-being, resilience, emotional intelligence, leadership development, workplace mental health, and stress management. Her ability to translate complex psychological concepts into practical, actionable strategies has made her a sought-after trainer across professional settings.

Her approach is grounded in one belief: that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but about helping people reconnect with the strengths, wisdom, and resilience that have always existed within them.

Whether working with individuals in therapy, speaking to organizations, or educating online communities, Anna’s mission remains the same—to create spaces where growth feels possible, healing feels accessible, and people feel genuinely seen.

In her own words;

“Nothing worth having is easy, however, goal achievement is contingent upon commitment and persistence”
